Training comes with a responsibility. Educating players and making sure that they are maximizing their touches is vital during each session. BUT, don't forget the small details... Planing session before you step out on the pitch will only make you more successful through out your season.
Coaching Points
The most crucial part of being a coach is being able to get through to all of your players. Being able to break down information in a simplistic yet understandable way is so important.
Tip:
Some players are Visual Learners/ Verbal Learners. Don't just talk your players heads off. Demonstrations are just like painting a picture. They are worth a 1000 words. (The slower the better)
Here’s how to do it:
Pick your topic for your session
Focus on how to design and unopposed activity
Bring in opposition where the activity is now Semi-opposed
Add a condition to a small sided game
Let the kids play, its time for a scrimmage.
